The title is the Kuna word for "Beautiful!" When I first read this book it made me aware of the differences in mola techniques. The author uses the Kuna language to refer to them. She conducted a critique of selected molas with 49 Kuna women to learn their ideas and preferences.
This is the author's first book about the molas of the Kuna Indians. Later she edited the "definitive mola bible."
